How are mailbox storage limits assigned?

The storage limits on e-mail packages with multiple users (mailboxes) can be divided as needed. You can specify a limit for each user account from the mail administration system. The limit can be a fixed size or it can be unlimited. An unlimited storage mailbox would be limited only be the maximum storage allowed for the entire account. For example, a 20 user account would include 200MB of storage and that storage could be divided up between the 20 users however the administrator would choose; however, if one mailbox was set to unlimited and reached the maximum storage limit of 200MB for the account, then no other messages could be delivered until the storage usage was reduced.
